We are 

Mindful Therapy Long Island


Chance brought us (Janis and Jill) together just over five years ago when we met online through mutual friends.  We had a lot in common and realized we were both walking similar paths in our careers — to find a holistic way to meet the growing mental health needs of our community. We were hesitant about taking the leap on our own, but our new friendship cemented our partnership.  


We joined forces and jumped in with both feet. It was a huge undertaking, but we hunkered down, got to work and began to make our visions of owning a mental health practice with our own unique approach come to life.


Together we were better. With our strong work ethics and innovative ideas we created a mental health practice that met the rising needs of our community while addressing the “humanness” of us all.


After recruiting other like-minded clinicians, Mindful Therapy Long Island was launched in 2018.


Our sole purpose is to support you in becoming a better version of yourself.

We ensure that mental health needs are being addressed as quickly, efficiently, and compassionately as possible


As we became more comfortable with our new business, in the wake of the pandemic,  we were ready to expand our practice. To best support and address the anxiety, fear, and depression that became more prevalent, we added more therapists to our team and now offer Telehealth services. 


Mindful Therapy continues to meet the ever-changing needs of today’s world. 

We are proud of the reputation we’ve built and the opportunity to help more people every day.
