I use the Rogerian approach, am very empathetic, genuine, and provide a non-judgmental and safe environment to quickly establish trust. I also use Strength Perspective to empower and assist client in seeing their own qualities. I use interactive feedback and interpretation to help client self-reflect and find ways to overcome stressors.

About me:

I enjoy spending time with my 2 children or with my friends. I go to the gym 5x weekly, hike, and love cooking.

I have experience working in various settings including substance abuse residences and the court system. I have worked with a multitude of populations as well, such as adolescents, at risk clients, victims of sexual violence, rape and incest. I have done group work and crisis intervention. I have worked with individuals with severe mental illnesses and those with co-occurring disorders. I also have worked with the LGBTQ+ population and clients from all backgrounds.
