Approach:
Everybody needs a ‘nobody’. A person you can tell anything to without the worry of judgement. A living journal of your very own. I love for clients to feel as though they are speaking with a friend. A friend who can provide empathy, compassion, understanding and guidance to help you achieve your therapeutic, and overall life goals. My style shifts for each individual person’s needs from providing ‘homework’ between sessions to lending a listening ear. I enjoy teaching client’s how to set boundaries to help them live the life they want.

Experience:
I began my career working with the aging and dementia/Alzheimer’s population tending to their needs as well as their caregiver’s. Not only is this topic a professional experience but a personal one as well. I moved on to work with children and families who were victims of domestic violence and child SA. When moving to private practice, my scope greatly expanded to many different areas. My main populations are women’s health, fertility, postpartum/parenthood. I also work with other life transitions (starting college, moving, marriage, retirement etc.) Another population close to my heart is first responder families, being a part of one myself. There are many parallels with my personal and professional life. Not only have I gained professional experience in many of these areas, but I have the personal experience to solidify it.
